Sick of the classic library logo. The Library Zen logo was designed by Gonzalo Rodriguez with an emphasis on Library 2.0. The logo challenge was posted on designpost.ca in a month long competition.
You will notice that it resembles the classic library logo but looks much better as you desktop wallpaper. Provided in three different screen resolution flavors.

Excellent, design! Very modern, very hip looking.

Glad you like it.
really like the design, but miss that classic “L” shape in there. good work!
Wow. I never noticed that about the classic logo. I’d make up something- like this new logo represents a more personal library character or that it shows a “face forward” approach to librarianship. Sadly, I wasn’t thinking of either when I selected this logo as the winner. Then again, everything is open to interpretation.
nice logo
hello, i work at usf’s gleeson library and i’m wondering how to go about getting permission to use the new library zen logo for a newsletter we’re putting together. can you help me?
Here is the page for licensing terms and image pack. Feel free to contact me via the contact page if you have any other questions.
I love the logo. Are you sharing it and can I use it on my elementary school media center webpage?
I am in the process of designing it but it isn’t published yet.

As long as it adheres to the terms cited in my previous comment.
