When you go out – assuming you make it out of your library surroundings – do you see ways other products/ ideas/ services could be incorporated back in the workplace? Welcome to my world and the concept behind Library Zen.
Library Zen is a two year brainchild of mine and has been in the design phase for the last 3 months. Here I will discuss my experiences in the library field and small ideas I’ve had along the way- some implemented, others not. There are a few more things that need tweaking but I’m excited to announce that this site will officially launch September 17th, 2006 (National Time’s Up Day).
September marks a few milestones in my life. It was the month that I set foot into my local library as an employee, 7 years ago. It will be the month I begin grad school to pursue a degree in Library & Information Science. And the long awaited launch of this site!
So, welcome. Sit back, relax. I’ve got a ton of notes I’ve been wanting to share!
